Job summary

High Associates in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform building and grounds upkeep, including unit turnover preparation and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. The role requires general repair skills, on-call availability, and a commitment to safety and hospitality for residents.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional on-call rotations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3-12 months of building maintenance and grounds experience.
Knowledge of plumbing and electrical work.
Basic knowledge of appliance repair and HVAC.
Flexibility to work a scheduled on-call rotation (evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

Perform minor building maintenance duties for properties owned and leased by High Associates, including unit turnover preparation.
Repair carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
Requisition supplies and maintain inventory records.
Inspect buildings and prepare preventative HVAC maintenance.
Maintain grounds and flowerbeds; keep equipment and work areas clean.
Follow safety rules and maintain the site in good order.
Support and reflect the High Philosophy in daily work.
Complete special assignments as directed.
