Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a maintenance/grounds position responsible for the upkeep of multi‑family residential properties. The role focuses on cleanliness, curb appeal, and maintaining outdoor spaces and common areas across multiple properties.

Responsibilities include managing building exteriors, leasing office areas, and parking areas, while following the company’s standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Janitorial/grounds experience preferred.
• Must consent to work with regulated chemicals and/or materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of breezeways, hallways, leasing office, clubhouse, model apartments, fitness center, service shop, and restrooms.
• Maintain company vehicle and golf carts; perform service checks and monthly wash.
• Complete work orders using Servus Connect.
• Maintain curb appeal using power blower, pressure washer and related tools.
• Perform turnover checklist tasks and use GSC Form #905.
• Be available for inclement weather maintenance, before, during and after.
• Review and comply with O&M Plans and Programs training.
• Report illegal activity, hazards, disturbances, or pet violations to the Leasing Office.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary

Overall responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments. Focused on keeping the property's cleanliness, physical appearance & curb appeal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cleanliness of building breezeways and hallways, leasing office, clubhouse, model apartments, fitness center, service shop, and service restrooms.
• Maintaining the condition of company vehicle and/or golf carts which includes service checks and monthly wash.
• Complete work orders using ticket system Servus Connect.
• Maintain curb appeal including but not limited to using power blower, pressure washer and other tools as needed.
• Performing all tasks on the Turnover Checklist and Ready for Approval form (GSC Form #905).
• Must be available for inclement weather maintenance, before, during & after.
• Reviewing, understanding complying and fulfilling training requirements for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Plans and Programs.
• Support the Company’s efforts to ensure the property is enforcing the company standards by reporting any illegal activity, hazards, disturbances, or pet violations to the Leasing Office as soon as possible.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Janitorial and/or grounds experience preferred.
• Must consent to work with regulated chemicals and/or materials and/or substances.
• Must have a valid driver’s license within the state of residency, an acceptable driving record and own transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
