Job summary

A property management company seeks an experienced individual to maintain a 66-unit apartment community in Imperial, CA. This full-time role requires general building maintenance and landscape skills. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills while being able to positively interact with residents and vendors. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $23.50 per hour based on experience. Housing is not provided, and reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors.
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items.
• Report violations of lease and house rules.
• Timely completion of maintenance requests and work orders.
• Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties.
• Maintain excellent curb appeal.
• Follow policies and procedures.

Skills

Good communication skills

Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)

Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff

Strong organizational skills

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) helpful

General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
