SERVICE TECHNICIAN

As a Service Technician on our Service and Asset Preservation Team, you will be part of a dedicated group of tradespeople committed to maintaining the physical appearance, preventative maintenance, move-in readiness, and ongoing service needs of our communities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Problem Solving and Asset Preservation Ambassador
  2. Deliver timely, courteous customer service consistently.
  3. Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems proactively.
  4. Respond swiftly to service tickets, document, and communicate status effectively, and prioritize requests thoughtfully.
  5. Build trust with residents through respectful and empathetic repairs.
  6. Monitor the make-ready schedule, manage vacancies, and initiate turnovers according to standards.
  7. Perform preventive maintenance and regular tune-ups to safeguard equipment.
  8. Conduct daily community walks to inspect cleanliness and safety, maintaining curb appeal.
  9. Collaborate with leasing and customer service teams by escalating urgent issues and communicating community concerns.
  10. Support team success by achieving individual and team goals.

OUR IDEAL TEAM MEMBER:

  • Proven experience in responsible maintenance services, preferably in residential or similar industries.
  • Well-versed in HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • EPA/CFC or CAMT Certification.
  • Reliable personal transportation.
  • Available for on-call work, outside standard hours, and able to respond within 30 minutes for emergencies.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and life safety systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and industry management software like Yardi.

The hourly range for this role is $22.39-$34.83 (dependent on experience).

Additional Compensation:Eligible for monthly and annual bonus programs, including leasing commissions, renewal bonuses, and spot awards.
