Job summary

Thrive Property Group is seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. This role handles maintenance requests, performs general repairs, and coordinates apartment turns between tenants, ensuring safety and quality across our properties.

The ideal candidate brings experience in multiple trades, is self-motivated, professional, and responsive to residents and property management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a skilled trade.
Own tools and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Smartphone with camera and email access for documentation and updates.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, drywall repair, painting, and appliance installation.
Complete apartment turns including cleaning, touch-ups, hardware replacement, and any necessary repairs.
Conduct regular property inspections and preventative maintenance.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with residents and staff.
Document work performed and communicate job status through the property management system.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with local building codes.
