Job summary

Thrive Property Group seeks a diligent Property Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 1099 contract basis in Kokomo, IN. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform routine repairs and apartment turns, and help uphold safety standards for our residents and properties.

You should have proven maintenance experience, own tools, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and a customer-service mindset are essential for success

Qualifications

Proven experience in general maintenance or a skilled trade.
Own tools and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls
Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, drywall repair, painting, and appliance installation
Complete apartment turns including cleaning, touch-ups, hardware replacement, and any necessary repairs
Conduct regular property inspections and preventative maintenance
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with residents and staff
Document work performed and communicate job status through the property management system
Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with local building codes
