Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team!
Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Booker Creek, our 158-unit residential community located Saint Petersburg, FL, 33713
What we offer our Full-Time Maintenance Tech's:
- Competitive base hourly pay, day time schedule (8:00-5:00pm, Monday through Friday)
- Automatic quarterly pay increases every 3 months (following initial 90-day introductory period)
- $40.00 per month personal cell-phone allowance
- We prefer applicant's that already have EPA 1 & 2 or EPA Universal, if not certified, but have all the skills and resident customer service experience, we will sponsor/pay for you to become certified within your first 75-days on the job.

What we are looking for:
- 2 or more years experience performing maintenance in a similar high-volume multi-family environment
- Experience with Yardi property management software
- Ability to work on-call/weekend rotation
- Excellent resident relations skills, penchant for curb-appeal, teamwork minded individuals looking to grow!

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
- Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
- Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
- Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
- Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
- Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
- Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
- Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
- Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
- Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
- Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Skills & Certifications:
- EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
