Park Property Management Company is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for The Coves in Palmyra, VA. The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor, handling plumbing, electrical and general repairs to keep the property in excellent condition.

Responsibilities include maintenance of common areas, responding to emergencies, and mentorship through The Park Academy. Candidates should be hands-on, reliable, with a valid license and willingness to work on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance or related field.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Skilled in using power tools and basic technology (computers/tablets).
• Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Rotating after-hours on-call availability and weekends.

About the Role

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician at The Coves in Palmyra, VA, you will be a key member of our team assisting the Maintenance Supervisor and ensuring our property is in top-notch physical condition, inside and out. A typical day could include plumbing, electrical, basic drywall, carpet, and appliance repairs, plus common area and exterior maintenance and repairs, respond to after-hours emergencies, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpet, and appliance repairs
• Maintain common areas and exteriors to the highest standards
• Respond to after-hours emergencies (on-call rotation required)
• Delegate tasks to maintenance assistants and ensure timely completion
• Maintain accurate records for work orders, parts, inventory, and service follow-up

• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
