Job summary

OT Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Wilmington, DE to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our apartment community under the direction of the Regional Manager. The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks to keep units and common areas in excellent condition.

You will perform repairs on showers, sinks, doors, walls, and exteriors, make ready units for new move-ins, and maintain HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Experience performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain effective working relationships.
• Professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting work as needed.
• Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program.
• Complete grounds work such as grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping.
• Coordinate special projects as directed.
