Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Apartment Technician for a contract-to-hire role based in Harrisburg, PA. You will perform diverse maintenance tasks such as window and appliance repairs, plumbing fixes, and floor restoration, with an emphasis on preparing units for new occupancy.

The position requires mid-level maintenance skills, ability to work independently, and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license. Typical hours are 7am–4pm, Monday to Friday, onsite in Harrisburg.

Qualifications

• Mid-level knowledge of building maintenance methods and materials.
• Knowledge of tools used in building maintenance.
• Mid-level understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Replace windows, glass, screens and spouting.
• Repair plumbing issues including drains, pipes, toilets.
• Repair covers for switches and outlets.
• Replace and repair apartment appliances (ranges, refrigerators).
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy: patch, paint, replace cabinets/countertops, strip and wax floors.
• Perform plumbing and electrical upgrades as needed.
