Position Details

Location: Bennington, NE

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine maintenance, groundskeeping, and customer service. Daily tasks include using power tools, completing unit turns, troubleshooting appliances, and acting as a Redwood ambassador to ensure a positive experience for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, and grounds
• Prepare vacated apartments for new residents
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
• Handle plumbing system repairs, appliance servicing, and emergency maintenance
• Follow safety standards and assist with snow removal
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Certification
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience in apartment maintenance
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and computers

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, bend, walk as needed
