What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee daily community operations and resident services
- Support and guide onsite team members to achieve property goals
- Manage resident files, lease administration
- Help ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address resident service requests
- Assist with rent collections, delinquency follow-up, and resident communications
- Oversee move-in and move-out processes, including unit inspections
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and payroll documentation
What It Takes to Succeed
- 2+ year of property management experience
- Strong customer service and resident relations skills
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, or similar platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance resident needs while enforcing community policies and procedures
Preferred but Not Required
- Additional affordable housing certifications
- Experience with compliance audits and reporting
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout apartment communities
- Ability to tour apartment homes and community amenities as needed
- Ability to use computers and office equipment for extended periods
- Ability to move throughout the property, including ascending and descending stairs when necessary
