Job summary
Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Homestead Apartments in Hobbs, NM. The role offers $20/hour, quarterly bonuses up to $750, health insurance, tool reimbursement, and paid time off with holidays.
Responsibilities include completing work orders, making ready units, painting and exterior maintenance, with 24/7 on-call coverage. The ideal candidate has 1+ year general maintenance experience and strong communication and problem-solving
Qualifications
- 1+ years of general maintenance experience.
- Drywalling, painting and carpentry experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing.
- Some knowledge of boilers and forced air systems.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to residents.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
- Make Ready / Turning Units between tenants.
- Paint/Stain interior and exterior applications.
- Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
- Manage 24/7 emergency cell phone coverage every 3–4 weeks.
