Job summary

Highmark Residential at Walden Legacy in Knoxville is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform a range of maintenance tasks across the apartment community, including appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical work.

You will support the Service Manager, respond to service requests promptly, and participate in preventive maintenance programs. A valid driver’s license and HVAC Type II or Universal certification are required, with flexible scheduling and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule & on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program
