Job summary

WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join Hampton Point Apartments in Silver Spring, MD. You will help maintain the community, respond to work orders, and ensure resident satisfaction while keeping daily operations running smoothly.

This full‑time role offers hourly pay of $24 based on experience, a phone allowance, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and rental discounts for eligible employees living on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of residential maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC experience/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance work orders.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents (turnovers).
• Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs.

Hampton Point Apartments, located in Silver Spring, MD, is looking for a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll help maintain the community, ensure resident satisfaction, and keep daily operations running smoothly

Service Technician – Hampton Point Apartments

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Compensation: $24/hour (based on experience) + phone allowance

Key Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance work orders
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents (turnovers)
• Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hands‑on knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Availability for after‑hours emergency response (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
