Job summary

CG Service Pros is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Austin. This field role travels between apartment communities and trains on energy-saving upgrades, documented work, and safety protocols.

HVAC experience isn’t required for the trainee track, with EPA certification preparation and credential progression offered by the hiring team. Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour for the trainee track, with supervised task training and a path toward HVAC maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience is not required for the trainee track.
• EPA Section 608 certification is preferred, not required.
• English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow field supervisor's daily work plan and learn approved installation and maintenance procedures.
• Assist with thermostats, lighting, water-saving devices, insulation and air-sealing tasks as assigned.
• Support qualified HVAC technicians with maintenance and tune-up work within your training, credentials and supervision.
• Take clear before-and-after photos, record accurate unit numbers and complete job documentation.
• Set up materials, keep tools organized, protect resident spaces and clean up after work.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, property teams and coworkers.
• Stop and ask for help when a task is unsafe, unclear or outside your training.
• Relevant apartment maintenance, make-ready, facilities, construction, weatherization or installation experience is helpful.
