Responsibilities include safety training, hazard assessments, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the Community Manager. High School diploma preferred with practical maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Must know property HVAC units and how to troubleshoot them.
• Read, understand and respond to service requests; document work per procedures.
• Read manuals and follow instructions; understand safety manuals and labeling.
• Work under time constraints and complete tasks in a reasonable timeframe.
• Have tools/equipment common to multi-family maintenance; use them safely.
• Willing to take on other tasks as needed; maintain professional appearance.
• English reading, writing and speaking required; travel may be needed with a valid ID.
• Some computer literacy is required; communicate effectively with team.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Continue safety training as required by law and company policy.
• Perform hazard assessments before starting tasks.
• Use appropriate safety equipment around moving parts and chemicals.
• Keep records for preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Provide training to colleagues as needed.
• Communicate with supervisor at least twice daily.
