Job summary

Royal American Companies is seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Technician for Villa Patricia I in Miami, FL. The role requires a High School diploma, or equivalent, and involves performing maintenance, safety tasks, and unit refurbishing with a focus on property HVAC and general upkeep.

Under supervision, you will complete scheduled maintenance, inspect units and common areas, and assist in custodial tasks while upholding OSHA standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of property HVAC units and be able to troubleshoot.
• Read and understand service requests, provide handwritten/typed responses, and complete reports.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to accept other tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Practices OSHA standards and company safety policy.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturers' recommendations.
• Inspect units and common areas and perform repairs and janitorial tasks.
• Maintain grounds according to the procedures manual schedule.
• Provide training for employees or colleagues from other communities, as needed.
