Job summary

Royal American Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve and upkeep a Florida property. Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, inspect units, and respond to repairs to keep residents comfortable and buildings safe.

You must follow OSHA standards, maintain equipment, and coordinate with the Community Manager. The role requires hand tools, physical ability, and reliable attendance; occasional travel to other properties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC knowledge and ability to troubleshoot.
• Read and follow written service requests.
• Must have tools and equipment generally associated with the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment, per manufacturers recommendations and manuals.
• Inspect all apartment units, buildings and common areas; perform repairs and janitorial assistance per procedures manual.
• Redecorate vacant units, including painting, cleaning of appliances, vacuuming and other tasks to prepare for re-occupancy.
• Assist in custodial work: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, etc., in common areas.
• Maintain and repair amenities such as pools, spas, ponds, fitness equipment, etc.
