Job summary

The Edison At Farrow Commons in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to keep apartments, exterior and common areas in excellent condition while delivering superior resident service.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances and pool systems, completing requests within 24 hours, and responding to 24-hour emergencies. A valid driver's license and HVAC certification are preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; two years of related apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
HVAC certification required; pool certification not required but a plus.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Maintain property to ensure good working order and curb appeal while delivering superior resident service.
Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in apartments, exterior and common areas (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools).
Complete service requests within 24 hours.
Respond to 24-hour maintenance emergencies as needed.
Prepare apartments for new residents promptly following Arqline standards.
Perform daily maintenance of property grounds for curb appeal.
Inspect and monitor building systems; adjust controls for HVAC and boilers.
Report problems to Maintenance Supervisor and maintain safety practices.
