Job summary

AIR Communities, Port Saint Lucie, FL, is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for Pine Lakes Preserve (300+ units). You will lead the maintenance team, handle vendor relations, preventive maintenance, and apartment turns, while ensuring safety and adherence to AIR procedures.

You will also support residents with responsive service and manage capital needs. The role requires 3+ years in maintenance/Facilities in property management, 1–3 years leading a team, and the ability to work a flexible

• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

We are hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for Pine Lakes Preserve, our 300+ unit community in Port St. Lucie, FL.

What We Offer

• Expected pay rate of $70,000 - $75,000 + 15% target bonus opportunity. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
• Quarterly Customer Service Satisfaction Bonuses. Service Managers who excel at consistently providing positive resident experiences can earn up to $250 per month.

What You Will Do

• Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports
• Provide exemplary service to residents and team members
• Manage all aspects of property maintenance which includes vendor relationships, service staff, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests
• Communicate property maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure maintenance and capital needs are addressed
• Ensure property follows / in compliance with AIR operating procedures/guidelines, regulations, and other compliance matters including those related to Environmental Health & Safety
• Manage budget efficiently to maximize return on investment while maintaining highest level of quality and customer service

Qualifications

What You Have

• At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management in the property management industry.
• 1-3 years of experience leading a team of people in customer service and asset maintenance
• A reliable mode of transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
• Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
