AIR Communities is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for Pine Lakes Preserve, a 300+ unit community in Port Saint Lucie, FL. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure exceptional resident service, and oversee preventive maintenance, apartment turns, and vendor relationships.

You will work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed, with on-site housing benefits and a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer service for residents.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management in the property management industry.
• 1-3 years of experience leading a team in customer service and asset maintenance.
• A reliable mode of transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day weeks as needed.
• Comfort with physical activity and moving heavy equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports.
• Provide exemplary service to residents and team members.
• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including vendors, staff, preventive maintenance, turns, and service requests.
• Communicate maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure actions are taken.
• Ensure compliance with AIR operating procedures, regulations, and EH&S requirements.
• Manage budget to maximize ROI while maintaining quality and service.

We are hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for Pine Lakes Preserve, our 300+ unit community in Port St. Lucie, FL.

What We Offer

AIR offers attractive compensation packages that reward performance including:

• Expected pay rate of $70,000 - $75,000 + 15% target bonus opportunity. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
• Quarterly Customer Service Satisfaction Bonuses. Service Managers who excel at consistently providing positive resident experiences can earn up to $250 per month.

What You Will Do

• Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports
• Provide exemplary service to residents and team members
• Manage all aspects of property maintenance which includes vendor relationships, service staff, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests
• Communicate property maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure maintenance and capital needs are addressed
• Ensure property follows / in compliance with AIR operating procedures/guidelines, regulations, and other compliance matters including those related to Environmental Health & Safety
• Manage budget efficiently to maximize return on investment while maintaining highest level of quality and customer service

Qualifications

What You Have

• At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management in the property management industry.
• 1-3 years of experience leading a team of people in customer service and asset maintenance
• A reliable mode of transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
• Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
