AIR Communities in Tampa, FL is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager to oversee property maintenance and lead a small team at Crosstown Walk + Overlook at Crosstown Walk. The role focuses on delivering exemplary resident service, managing preventative maintenance, vendor relations, and on-site operations.

The position offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary in the mid- to high-$70k range, plus a 15% target bonus and additional performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical maintenance and facilities management in the property management industry.
• 1-3 years of experience leading a team in customer service and asset maintenance.
• Reliable mode of transportation.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (seasonal) and on-call shifts.
• Ability to move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports.
• Provide exemplary service to residents and team members.
• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including vendor relationships, service staff, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests.
• Communicate maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure needs are addressed.
• Ensure property follows AIR operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Manage budget to maximize ROI while maintaining high quality and service.
