Job summary

AIR Communities owns and operates best-in-class apartment communities in major markets across the country. Verona in Littleton, CO needs an Apartment Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations, lead a small team, and ensure high resident satisfaction.

We offer competitive pay ($28.00–$33.00/hour) with a 15% target bonus and monthly bonuses up to $250, plus an on-site apartment discount. Join a team focused on world-class service and efficient property maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management in the property management industry.
• 1-3 years of experience leading a team of people in customer service and asset maintenance.
• A reliable mode of transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
• Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports
• Provide exemplary service to residents and team members
• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including vendor relationships, service staff, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests
• Communicate property maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure maintenance and capital needs are addressed
• Ensure property follows AIR operating procedures and regulatory compliance including Environmental Health & Safety
• Manage budget to maximize ROI while maintaining quality and service
