Job summary

AIR Communities owns and operates best-in-class apartment communities, including the Tampa, FL area. We are hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance at our on-site community and ensure outstanding resident service and property upkeep.

You will oversee a team, manage vendor relationships, and drive preventative maintenance and apartment turns while prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management in property management.
• 1–3 years of experience leading a team in customer service and asset maintenance.
• Able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports.
• Provide exemplary service to residents and team members.
• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including vendor relationships, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests.
• Communicate maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure timely addressing.
• Ensure compliance with AIR operating procedures, regulations, and EH&S requirements.
• Manage budget to maximize ROI while maintaining quality and service.
