Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team at a multifamily community. You will ensure apartment homes and facilities are well-maintained, respond to service requests promptly, and help keep units market-ready to meet leasing demand.

Experience in property maintenance and supervisory roles is required, with HVAC knowledge and EPA licensing as assets. A valid driver's license is also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3–5 years in multifamily property maintenance.
• HVAC experience required; EPA Type II or EPA Universal license.
• Valid driver’s license; Supervisory experience preferred (1–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the maintenance team to repair and maintain property facilities and apartment units.
• Provide prompt, courteous responses to service requests and ensure market-ready apartments.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing maintenance staff including painters and landscaping.

Primary responsibilities include coordinating the maintenance team to ensure the repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment units; prompt and courteous responses to service requests; an adequate supply of market ready apartments to meet leasing demand; property appearance which meets or exceeds standards.
