Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across a multifamily community. You will coordinate repairs, manage service responses, and ensure market-ready apartments align with leasing demand.

The role requires HVAC experience, a high school diploma/GED, and an EPA Type II or Universal license. Supervisory responsibilities and Florida CAMT considerations may apply depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3–5 years in multifamily property maintenance or equivalent
• HVAC experience required as part of maintenance duties
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal license required; Florida CAMT license may be required at hire or exam opportunity

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance team to repair and maintain property facilities and apartment units
• Provide prompt and courteous responses to service requests
• Ensure adequate supply of market-ready apartments to meet leasing demand
• Maintain property appearance to or above standards
• Assist with hiring, training and development of maintenance staff (including painters and/or landscaping)

Primary responsibilities include coordinating the maintenance team to ensure the repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment units; prompt and courteous responses to service requests; an adequate supply of market ready apartments to meet leasing demand; property appearance which meets or exceeds standards.
