Village Green seeks an Apartment Maintenance Manager in Menomonee Falls, WI, to lead the maintenance team and oversee daily work orders, inspections, and service requests. The role includes budgeting input, capital projects, and energy management recommendations to maintain high living standards.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance, strong customer service and computer skills, and EPA Universal Certification or HVAC

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team in hotel, apartment, or hospital maintenance.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to build, mentor, and train a team.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, HVAC, or EPA Universal Certification.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of Maintenance staff members, including delegation of work orders, special projects, and time management techniques
• Inspection and oversight of existing and completed work orders
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and all other service requests
• Mentoring and training new and existing maintenance staff members
• Involvement with interviewing and selection of new maintenance team members
• Provides written monthly energy management recommendations for the building
• Identifies capital improvements and obtains required estimates/bids
• Assists in budget preparation for maintenance expenses
