Summary of Functions:

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities across the facility to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. This role involves managing work orders, tracking maintenance records, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance programs. _

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

_ Work Order Management: _

  • Create, prioritize, and track maintenance work orders in Rent Manager.
  • Assign tasks to technicians and monitor work progress.
  • Ensure timely closure of work orders and accurate documentation

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Review equipment performance and update appropriate spreadsheets as needed.

Inventory & Procurement:

  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and tools.
  • Coordinate with purchasing for ordering parts and materials.
  • Track and manage vendor relationships and contracts.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for inspections, certifications, and audits.
  • Support safety initiatives and participate in safety meetings.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate maintenance reports.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce equipment failure.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Liaise between maintenance, production, and other departments to minimize disruptions.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
  • Support onboarding and training of maintenance staff.

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Strong customer service background and skills.
  • Projection of a professional image by following the dress code and appearance standards.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • A willingness to be trained.
  • A positive, upbeat attitude.
  • A work record of good attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and tools.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Working Knowledge of relevant safety regulations.

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in maintenance coordination, facilities management, or similar roles.
