Job summary

Birgo is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of several Birgo properties in Shaker Heights and Edgewater. You will perform turnovers, readiness, and preventive maintenance to keep units market-ready and safe.

Responsibilities include drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs; respond to after-hours on-call requests; and assist with ongoing property improvements. Eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license are required.

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Personal, insured mode of transportation
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases

Responsibilities

• Turnovers/make-readies
• Repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC
• Preventative maintenance
• Handle emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance
• Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Job Summary

Boiler experience would be helpful.

Pay and Benefits

• $23-26/hour, paid weekly
• Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an on-call rotation
