Job summary

Kittle Property Group is hiring a Leasing Consultant at Canterbury House Apartments & The Retreat in Michigan City, IN. You will lease apartments, conduct tours and follow up with prospects to maximize occupancy and resident retention.

No prior experience required; a high school diploma or GED is sufficient. Training includes fair housing and leasing classes; this on-site role offers weekly payroll and benefits with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior leasing experience necessary.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions.
• MS Office proficiency and reliable math basics.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments through telephone sales and tours.
• Follow up with prospective and current residents.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Present the community professionally and maintain curb appeal.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs for resident experience.
• Manage lease negotiations and renewals.
• Assist with rent collection and provide account information.
• Enter information into Yardi and file resident records.
