Job summary

Peterson Properties, Inc. is seeking a full-time apartment leasing specialist to join Cedar Ridge Apartments in Topeka, KS. The ideal candidate provides exceptional customer service, is friendly, professional, and organized, and helps residents feel at home.

Responsibilities include guiding applicants, processing leases, and supporting tenant retention goals. Background and drug screening are required; compensation is based on experience with benefits available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Reliable transportation and commitment to a 40-hour work week is required.
• Previous leasing or sales experience is a plus.
• RentCafe/Yardi experience is a plus.
• Ability to successfully complete background and drug screening.
• Compensation is based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents and current tenants and guide them through the leasing process.
• Schedule tours, process applications, collect deposits, and coordinate move-in steps.
• Create a positive experience for residents to support leasing and retention goals.
• Collaborate with on-site team to ensure excellent customer service.
