Job summary

Independent Management Services in Kansas City, KS seeks a full-time rental sales professional to drive lead generation through lease close. You will respond to inquiries, conduct unit tours, qualify applicants, renew leases, and pursue all rental leads across channels.

You will also create community outreach campaigns, resolve resident concerns, organize events, and maintain professional relationships with residents. HUD Section 8 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Sales-minded with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated with initiative and reliable follow-up via phone and email.
• Experience with HUD Section 8 subsidy programs and Fair Housing laws.
• Proficient with Paycom and Microsoft Office; RealPage OneSite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• All rental sales activities from lead generation through close.
• Respond to inquiries, perform unit tours, qualify applicants, and complete lease renewals.
• Ensure leads via telephone, walk-in, internet, etc. are pursued.
• Generate qualified rental leads through referrals, networking, and ads.
• Create and execute community outreach marketing efforts.
• Receive and resolve resident requests and concerns.
• Organize resident functions to promote retention and satisfaction.
• Foster positive relationships with residents while maintaining professionalism.
• Reports directly to the Site Manager.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience with HUD Section 8 subsidy programs.
• Proficiency with Paycom software and Microsoft Office suite preferred.
• Experience with RealPage OneSite preferred.
• Demonstrated track record regarding work attendance and reporting to work timely.
• Must adhere to Federal Fair Housing Laws.
