Job summary

AvalonBay Communities, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Sales and Service Supervisor to lead the leasing team and elevate resident experience at our Wayne community.

You will coach leasing consultants, drive revenue, handle customer concerns, and ensure service excellence while upholding company policies. 1–3 years in multifamily settings with supervisory experience is required; a high school diploma is essential, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of multifamily experience or related experience in hospitality or retail environments.
• 1+ years of supervisory or training experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in using administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining community sales goals and coach leasing consultants to achieve them.
• Lease apartment homes and educate residents on community information.
• Address customer service concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction.
• Develop, implement and monitor programs to maximize revenue and improve experience.
• Support residents through move-in, renewals, moves, and transfers.
• Monitor market conditions via market surveys and competitive analysis.
• Plan resident events to foster community connections; follow AVB policies and fair housing laws.
