Job summary

Hamilton Point Property Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins and move-outs, and lease renewals, while delivering excellent customer service to prospective and current residents.

You will generate traffic, qualify prospects, tour communities, prepare documents, maintain accurate records, and support management with reporting and daily tasks; evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Experience with property management software or on-site accounting software.
• Comfort with using personal computers and standard office equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, and prepare lease documents.
• Complete move-in paperwork and procedures and ensure move-in readiness of model units.
• Maintain accurate and detailed resident files and enter information into the computer.
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and promote a quality living experience.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-ins and coordinate move-in/out scheduling with maintenance.
• Complete weekly leasing reports and ensure daily open/close procedures are followed.
• Support management with clerical tasks, such as answering calls, filing, and processing invoices.
