Job summary

InterSolutions, LLC is seeking a Leasing consultant in Kansas City, MO to welcome prospective residents, tour properties, and assess housing needs. The role includes processing applications, handling leases, and collecting deposits and rent, with an hourly pay rate of $18-$20.

Qualifications

Background in leasing, real estate, retail, sales or customer service preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Weekend availability as required.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective residents and give tours while assessing housing needs and preferences.
Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, applications, and employment/credit checks.
Collect security deposits, rent, and other move-in charges.
Explain lease terms and community policies to residents.
Follow up with leads and prospects who do not lease.
Ensure apartments are move-in ready and add final touches as needed.
Cultivate new resident leads with creative marketing techniques.
Manage lease renewals and retention efforts.
Respond promptly to calls, emails and inquiries.
