Job summary

Adara Communities’ Tampa Woods community is seeking an Apartment Leasing Manager to oversee leasing operations for a 444-unit property. You will lead leasing efforts to maintain occupancy and contribute to revenue goals, manage rent collection and notices, and support daily property operations.

You will coach the Leasing Agent, ensure quality resident service, prepare reports, and collaborate with the Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Assistant Manager in the apartment industry with leasing experience.
• Strong sales and leasing skills with proven ability to close.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Flexible schedule with weekend availability.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Live within a 20-mile radius of the property or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments to maintain occupancy and contribute to revenue goals.
• Manage rent collection, posting of rent, and issuance of late notices.
• Assist with move-out notices, service requests, and resident transfer requests.
• Support managerial duties and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and documentation.
• Prepare reports and leasing documentation.
• Assist in maintaining social media presence to increase visibility and traffic.
• Support and develop the Leasing Agent to improve leasing performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective renters.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager and onsite team to support community success.

What You'll Do as an Apartment Leasing Manager:

• Lease apartments to maintain strong occupancy and contribute to revenue goals
• Manage rent collection, posting of rent, and issuance of late notices
• Assist with accepting move out notices, service requests, and resident transfer requests
• Support managerial duties and help ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident information and documentation
• Prepare reports, administrative paperwork, and required leasing documentation
• Assist in maintaining an active social media presence to increase visibility and generate traffic
• Support, coach, and help develop the Leasing Agent to strengthen leasing performance
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective renters
• Work collaboratively with the Property Manager and onsite team to support community success

What We're Looking For in the Apartment Leasing Manager:

• Minimum 2 Yearsprevious experience as an Assistant Manager in the apartment industry with strong leasing experience (REQUIRED)
• Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and work ethic
• Flexible schedule – some weekends are REQUIRED
• Social media or marketing content creation experience strongly preferred
• Stable work history
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
