The Apartment Leasing Agent reports to the General Manager and is responsible for assisting with daily property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, financial stability, and proper maintenance.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Assisting with leasing activities to maintain high occupancy levels, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability.
  2. Ensuring accurate records of availability align with lease renewal reports.
  3. Processing rental applications for approval by the General Manager.
  4. Managing property licenses and renewals in coordination with legal counsel and city authorities.
  5. Assisting with resident check-out procedures, including inspections and final account settlements.
  6. Ensuring accurate and efficient lease signing and resident check-in processes.
  7. Responding promptly to resident concerns and complaints, fostering positive relations, and reporting issues to the General Manager.
  8. Preparing weekly performance reports as needed.
  9. Supporting advertising and marketing efforts to promote the property.
  10. Developing resident retention programs.
  11. Maintaining courteous communication with residents, applicants, staff, and vendors.
  12. Handling general administrative tasks such as filing and typing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance preferred.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Entrata (preferred).
  • Strong numerical, record-keeping, and grammatical skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws applicable to leasing.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow proper procedures.
  • Positive, professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
