Join us as an Apartment Leasing Agent at Hayman Company

We are seeking an experienced Leasing Professional for our community at Apex 400 Apartments in Glen Ellyn. As the face of our company and property, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, building relationships and showcasing why they should choose our community as their new home. We value a proven sales track record and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

1. Understanding potential resident needs and matching them with suitable apartments.
2. Ensuring curb appeal and apartment readiness each morning for tours.
3. Following up on internet and phone leads to set appointments.
4. Touring and closing prospects.
5. Processing applications, preparing lease packages, and handling renewals.
6. Conducting move-in orientations and meeting move-in requirements.
7. Managing marketing and social media for the community.

Qualifications:

• Previous sales and customer service experience; apartment industry experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with prospects.
• Motivated self-starter and team player.
• Knowledge of Yardi property management software is a plus.

Additional Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
• Benefits include 401(k) matching, health and dental insurance, paid time off, and more.
• Schedule includes weekends, Monday to Friday, and as needed.
• Experience required: 1 year in apartment leasing.
• License: Driver's License required.
