Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Leasing Agent to join our team in the Austin area. The role focuses on qualifying prospects, leasing apartments to sustain high occupancy, and delivering exceptional resident and prospect services.

You will help generate traffic through outreach, host resident functions, manage social media presence to drive engagement, and support the Property Manager with daily operations. A supportive, people-first culture awaits you with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ Year(s) previous experience leasing conventional apartments (REQUIRED).
• Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a polished and professional appearance.
• Flexible schedule – weekends REQUIRED.
• Social media or marketing content creation experience strongly preferred.
• Stable work history.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance
• Verify applications, process leasing paperwork, and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide exceptional customer services to residents and prospects
• Generate new traffic through outreach efforts and community engagement
• Host resident functions and contribute to maintaining positive resident relations
• Create and maintain the property's social media presence to drive traffic and engagement
• Support the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manager with daily operational tasks
• Represent the community with a friendly and professional demeanor
