Job summary

Hayman Company in Aurora, IL seeks an Apartment Leasing Agent to help prospective residents find their ideal home. You will conduct tours, qualify leads, and close leases, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires weekend work and a valid leasing license is preferred. Knowledge of Yardi is a plus; you will manage marketing efforts for the community and support move-in processes.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and customer service experience required.

• Illinois Leasing License preferred.

Position: Apartment Leasing Agent

Location: Aurora, IL

Applicants required to work weekends. Illinois Leasing License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain an understanding of potential resident needs and provide information as to which of our apartments best fit those needs.
• Check curb appeal and apartments each morning to ensure we are ready to tour and demonstrate our product offerings to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Follow-up on prospect internet and phone leads to try to set appointments.
• Tour and close the prospect.
• Process applications, preparation of lease packages & renewals.
• Conduct move-in orientation and ensure all move-in requirements are met to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Marketing and Social Media management for the community.
• Great Salary PLUS Commission.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and customer service experience is required; experience within the apartment industry is required. Illinois Leasing License preferred.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and have a high level professionalism.
• Ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents.
• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting.
• Previous knowledge of Yardi property management software is preferred.
