Job summary

TGM Communities seeks a Business Manager for its Glen Burnie, MD community. Reporting to the Community Director, you’ll ensure accurate AR/AP processing and deliver superior resident service; prior apartment management experience is preferred.

You will collect and post rent, issue notices, maintain records, handle move-ins/outs and renewals, code invoices, and assist the leasing team with marketing. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management is required.
• Must manage accounts receivable/payable and postings accurately.
• Some evenings and weekend work required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent or relevant certifications required.
• Background check and drug screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely collection and posting of all rental payments; issues delinquency notices as required.
• Maintains records including allowances, rent increases, NSFs, and other debits/credits.
• Completes move ins/outs and lease renewals per policy.
• Reviews and codes all property invoices accurately.
• Collaborates with leasing team to develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Conducts tours of the community, leases and moves in residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance at all times.
