Job summary

AIR Communities in San Diego, CA, seeks an Apartment Community Manager for Bay Apartments. You will lead operations, sales, finances, and team development to deliver exceptional resident experiences and exceed business goals.

The role oversees a small team, manages budgets, and drives leasing, maintenance, and revenue growth, while ensuring compliance with policies and laws. Compensation is $85,000–$95,000 yearly with on-site housing option and commissions.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience with sales, customer service, and asset management in property management or similar industry.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in property management.
• 2-4 years leading a team in competitive sales and customer service environment.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach a diverse group of team members.
• Demonstrated ability using sales processes and metrics to drive results.
• General understanding of financials and budgets.
• Knowledge of property management systems (Entrata, OneSite, SmartRent, Salesforce).
• Flexible schedule: Tue–Sat, 10:00am–7:00pm.

• You will be provided a pay rate of $85,000 - $95,000that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

What You Will Do

Qualifications

What You Have

• At least 4 years of experience with sales, customer service, and asset management ideally in property management or similar industry (hospitality, retail, restaurants etc.)
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role in property management.
• 2-4 years of experience leading a team of people in competitive sales and customer service environment
• Proven leader with ability to mentor and coach a diverse group of team members
• Demonstrated ability using sales processes and metrics to drive results
• Possess general understanding of financials and budgets
• Knowledge of various property management systems and tools (ie, Entrata, OneSite, SmartRent, Salesforce etc.)
• Flexible schedule availability to work during ouroffice hours. Typical schedule will beTuesday – Saturday,10:00am – 7:00pm(hours may vary based on community and season).
• Reliable transportation.
