Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations at one apartment community. The successful candidate will strengthen resident relations, lead a team, and communicate effectively to deliver service excellence and occupancy goals.

Responsibilities include staffing, onboarding, training, budgeting, and coordinating with maintenance and marketing to execute leasing strategies. A proactive, dependable professional who works well with others will thrive in our people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of related experience.
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads property staff, overseeing onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and annual assessments.
• Drive team to achieve performance indicators; provide feedback and coordinate with HR on disciplinary actions.
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing paperwork, safety, and daily operations.
• Motivate associates through recognition programs, training, and team-building activities to boost morale and productivity.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets; complete month-end and year-end financial reporting.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention; respond to complaints and resolve service issues promptly.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure prompt responses and completion of service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high standards for resident service.
• Analyze market trends and work with marketing to implement leasing strategies to hit occupancy and revenue goals.
• Follow eviction procedures and support court representation as needed.
• Manage client/owner relationships with property tours and timely updates.
