Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Cleaner to join our on-site operations team in Merrillville, IN to support a positive resident experience.

The role includes cleaning surfaces and fixtures, restrooms, clubhouse floors, and vacant units; reporting safety issues; and assisting other departments. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required; you must communicate professionally and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using software and apps.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Wipe and dust surfaces and light fixtures, gather and empty trash receptacles.
• Service, clean and supply restrooms.
• Clean clubhouse floors, kitchen, refrigerator and cupboards.
• Clean facility laundry rooms and report issues to supervisor.
• Clean vacant units to market-ready status; test lights and windows.
• Identify items needing repair and call vendors when advised.
• Mix solutions for cleaning according to specifications.
• Assist cross-functional departments with tasks as directed.
• Report safety or compliance issues to management.
• Handle stressful deadlines and maintain quality under pressure.
