Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons in Columbus, OH is seeking a Cleaner to join our on-site operations team and help ensure a positive experience for residents. The role involves cleaning common areas, restrooms, clubhouses, and vacant units while supporting other departments as needed.

The ideal candidate has basic cleaning experience, communicates well with residents and coworkers, and maintains a professional appearance. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

Basic cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Must maintain a professional appearance and follow dress code.
Able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
Comfort with basic computer tasks and software.

Responsibilities

Wipe and dust surfaces and light fixtures, gather and empty trash receptacles.
Service, clean and supply restrooms.
Clean clubhouse floors and kitchen areas, including refrigerator and cupboards.
Clean the facility laundry rooms and report issues to supervisor.
Prepare vacant units to market-ready status by cleaning and testing lights.
Identify items needing repair and notify management or vendors.
Mix cleaning solutions per specifications and assist other departments as directed.
Report safety or compliance issues to management.
Work under stressful deadlines or unexpected situations.
