Job summary

Gauntlet seeks a Trading Operations Lead based in APAC to oversee vaults and trading strategies during Asian market hours. You will monitor live strategies, respond to incidents, and ensure safe, effective operations with cross-functional teams across Asia and beyond.

fluency in Mandarin and English is required to engage partners and stakeholders. This role emphasizes practical live-market experience over engineering or quantitative research.

Qualifications

• Experience in live financial markets, preferably in trading operations or a trading desk.
• Ability to recognise unusual market behavior and understand potential implications.
• Comfortable making decisions as new information comes in.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of trading operations and on-call coverage during APAC hours across vaults and strategies.
• Monitor live vaults and strategies, investigate alerts, and identify unusual behavior or risks.
• Respond to operational incidents by following playbooks and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with teams across time zones to improve processes, runbooks, and handovers.
• Stay informed on crypto and traditional markets and share insights with the team.
• Support APAC partner conversations, explaining products and requirements, and exploring new strategies.
• Improve tools, monitoring processes, and day-to-day documentation.
