Job summary

AgriCapture is seeking an APAC Rice Program Analyst to support data management, QA/QC, analysis and reporting for rice methane reduction projects across Asia-Pacific. You will collaborate with field teams, implementation partners, and the tech stack to ensure data integrity and scalable project execution.

The role emphasizes data completeness, audit readiness, and actionable insights to guide expansion and verified credits across geographies, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Experience in reviewing and managing data of agricultural or sustainability projects across multiple regions.
• Familiarity with rice production systems and agricultural markets preferred.
• Exposure to carbon offset project development; Verra VM51 or Gold Standard experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage external partners and drive accountability.
• Highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable working across time zones.
• Fluent in English (required).
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of time.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review project data across the APAC rice portfolio, including farmer enrollment records, geospatial boundaries, baseline activities, and ongoing project activity monitoring.
• Conduct QA/QC checks to identify missing, inconsistent, duplicate, or anomalous records.
• Work with Program Managers and implementation partners to resolve data gaps and improve data quality at the source.
• Track data completeness against project timelines and verification requirements and proactively flag projects, partners, or datasets at risk.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support program strategy, partner performance evaluation, and expansion into new geographies.
• Help support the development of country-, partner-, and project-level performance analyses to support resource allocation and expansion decisions.
• Track data collection and ensure completeness, consistency, and audit readiness.
• Support the internal technical team in preparing data packages and evidence for verification bodies (VVBs).
• Support Program Managers to coordinate logistics for VVB site visits and respond to information requests.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on AgriCapture’s technical asset and carbon project development for implementation partner network.
• Support Program Managers to maintain structured documentation repositories and audit trails

APAC Rice Program Analyst

Objectives of the Role

The APAC Rice Program Analyst will support the data management, monitoring, analysis and reporting required for the execution and expansion of rice methane reduction projects across Asia-Pacific. This role sits at the center of field data review, implementation partners, field teams and AgriCapture’s technology systems to ensure projects are executed with high integrity and scaled efficiently.The Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the project data is complete, consistent, ready for analysis and verification while translating field and project data into actionable insights for project management.Success in this role is measured by data completeness and accuracy, audit and verification readiness, and the quality of reporting and insights that support growth in hectares under management and verified credits generated.

Core Responsibilities

Data Management and Quality Assurance

• Manage and review project data across the APAC rice portfolio, including farmer enrollment records, geospatial boundaries, baseline activities, and ongoing project activity monitoring.
• Conduct routine quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks to identify missing, inconsistent, duplicate, or anomalous records.
• Work with Program Managers and implementation partners to resolve data gaps and improve data quality at the source.

Analysis & Reporting

Qualifications

• Experience in reviewing and managing data of agricultural or sustainability projects across multiple regions
• Familiarity with rice production systems and agricultural markets strongly preferred, enabling timely support to the technical team and clear explanation of concepts to partners
• Exposure to carbon offset project development preferred (Verra VM51 or Gold Standard experience a plus) with enough fluency to answer partner questions on carbon project development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable working across time zones
