Job summary

Pega seeks a seasoned Director of Quality Assurance to lead APAC financial closing and regulatory compliance initiatives. The role requires directing cross‑functional teams, overseeing the APAC general ledger, and ensuring GAAP adherence while meeting US SEC deadlines.

You will drive budgeting, reporting, and process improvements while mentoring a senior finance team in a high‑growth, global environment. Strong leadership and strategic insight are essential.

Qualifications

• CA with experience in technology industry.
• 15+ years in finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control incl. US/India GAAP.
• Knowledge of automated financial reporting systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements and projections.
• Experience leading projects and motivating teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage APAC financial closing across cross‑functional teams to capture, reconcile, document and disclose data.
• Ensure APAC data complies with GAAP and US SEC closing deadlines.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and control matrices.
• Oversee APAC general ledger, sub‑ledgers and fiscal records.
• Manage fixed asset systems and APAC cash flow and weekly bank reconciliations.
• Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions.
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
• Monitor monthly operating results against budget.
• Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department.
