Pega is seeking a Director of Quality in AB Chicago, IL, US. This senior role sits within the Global Finance team and leads a large, matrixed organization. You will establish robust processes and controls to deliver high-quality financial results and advise stakeholders across India/APAC and the US on risks and opportunities.

You will guide accounting policies, close processes, and financial planning while driving a high-performing team in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• CA (Chartered Accountant) with strong experience in the technology industry.
• 15+ years’ experience across finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including U.S. and India GAAP.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
• Small and large project/program orientation.
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and concurrently manage several projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the APAC financial closing process – coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure data is captured, reconciled, documented, and disclosed.
• Ensure APAC data complies with GAAP.
• Meet monthly close deadlines for US SEC reporting purposes.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures including process documentation and control matrices.
• Review and approve APAC accounting transactions; oversee APAC general ledger and sub-ledgers.
• Manage the fixed asset systems.
• Manage APAC operating cash, weekly bank reconciliation, and reporting.
• Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions.
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
• Monitor monthly operating results against budget.
• Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department.
